I am a founding partner of Aberkyn and have over 15 years of facilitation experience in organisational change. I have worked, as a facilitator, literally all over the world; primarily in the UK (based in London for 10 years) and the Netherlands, but also in the USA, Asia, South America, Africa and the Middle East.
The quality of relationships is at the core of my work; connecting people with each other and with themselves. From connection new insights emerge and aspired change becomes possible. Currently I enjoy working on team journeys and I also support a number of leaders and young future leaders on their personal path.
Prior to setting up Aberkyn, I was a partner at Sheppard Moscow, a leading London-based Change Management firm. After obtaining a Masters of Law Degree (Leiden University, 1987), I worked in commercial roles with Procter & Gamble (Brand Management) and Walt Disney (Licensing in Brussels and London). To support my current work, I have obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Psychology (Middlesex University, 2004) and completed a wide range of coaching qualifications.
My home is Amsterdam where I live with my family. Prior to this I have lived and worked abroad for twenty years due to my innate curiosity to explore the world. I love the outdoors and in my younger years I worked as a qualified white water river guide in the Himalaya’s. Working as a guide exposed me to the joys of working with groups. My hobbies are year round open water swimming (e.g. Bosporus Cross Continental Swim 2018) and hiking, the latter preferably with my husband Paul. It makes me happy to combine my busy life with time on our houseboat on a beautiful lake in the Netherlands.
